This page covers the website at dabl.app as it is today: a page about Dabl and a form for writing to me. There are no accounts on the site yet. When there are, this page will grow to cover them, and the Dabl app will have its own section here before it is out.

The site is run by Nathan Reynolds, the founder of Dabl, in Austin, Texas. Write to nathan@dabl.app with any question about it.

What the site collects

The contact form. If you write to me from the homepage, the site stores your email address, what you typed, the role chip that was selected when you sent it, which version of the page you saw, when you sent it, and the link tags that brought you to the site. It stores this so that I can read it and reply to you personally, and so that I can email you news about Dabl, such as when it opens in your neighborhood. Every news email has a working unsubscribe, and unsubscribing stops those emails without deleting what you wrote. It is kept until you ask me to delete it, or two years after our last exchange, whichever comes first.

Counting visits. The site counts that a page was visited, when, which page, and the link tags and referring page that brought the visit. It does this without cookies, without advertising identifiers, and without recording your IP address or browser details. Visit records are deleted after thirteen months.

What the site does not do. It sets no cookies. It has no third-party trackers or ad pixels. Its own records never include your IP address. Google, which hosts the site, keeps standard server logs for its own security and operations, as every host does.

Who else touches it

The site runs on Google's Firebase, which stores the form entries and hosts the pages. Google processes them for me and does not use them for its own advertising. Nobody else receives anything. I do not sell or share your address with anyone.

Deleting what you gave

Email nathan@dabl.app from the address you used and I will delete what you sent within thirty days. You can ask what I hold about you, or ask me to correct it, the same way.

Age

Dabl is for adults. If you are under 18, please do not write in.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the new version is posted here with a new date.
