There’s someone at your coffee shop you’ve seen thirty times. And never spoken to.
Dabl changes that.
Dabl figures out who you cross paths with. The people at your gym, your coffee shop, your Tuesday run club, week after week.
Dabl shows you what you have in common. The places, the groups, the people you both know.
Say hi. If they say hi too, Dabl shares contacts. You take it from there, in real life. That’s all there is to it.
No feed. No content. Just people.
I’m not a social media person. Pretty awkward for someone trying to build a social app. But to me, that’s the whole point. In all the scrolling, posting, and following, we’ve lost the human side of it. What if we could build something to change that? No feeds, no content. Just people.
I moved to Austin to build just this. An app to bring us closer to the people we see every day. The people on the trail we pass each morning, the gym friends whose names we can never remember, the neighbors who seem farther away than the influencers we follow.
I can’t launch this alone. Austinites need to find other Austinites when they join, not an empty app. If you want to see Dabl in our city as much as I do, come help me start it.

I’m looking for group organizers, people who want this in their neighborhood, and anyone who wants to help. If that’s you, or you’re just curious, I’d love to hear from you.
